Sindh Launched Digital Marketing Diploma in Government Colleges

In a significant move towards enhancing technical education, the Sindh government has introduced a digital marketing diploma in government colleges across the province. This decision marks a significant step forward in the field of vocational and technical training in the region.
The introduction of this diploma was facilitated by a five-member committee formed by the provincial government. The committee was tasked with determining the structure of the course, assessing its technical aspects, and formulating the mechanism for its implementation. The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission had previously given approval to the digital marketing module, paving the way for its introduction in the curriculum.
Secretary Colleges, Sadaf Shaikh, shared details about the diploma with a local daily. According to Shaikh, the course will initially be a one-year diploma. Students will be taught digital marketing in a two-hour-long class every day. While the diploma has primarily been introduced for Computer Science students, students from other departments are also welcome to enroll.
The diploma will be launched in 30 public sector colleges across the province. These include five colleges in Karachi, four in Hyderabad, six in Mirpurkhas, four in Larkana, four in Sukkur, and five in Shaheed Benazirabad.
