PFF president Syed Muhaisn Gilani met US ambassador Natalie A. Baker and discussed about promoting football at both countries in a meeting.
At the meeting, Gilani presented PFF reform agenda and preparations to collaborate with the US Embassy and informed about backing from Prime Minister House and Sports Ministry for youth development.
The US Ambassador praised the headway being made during Gilani planned and agreed to cooperation with key priorities – women’s football development, youth high performance programs and the promotion of FIFA World Cup 2026 that will be hosted by US along with Canada and Mexico.
Syed Mohsin Gilani said that Pakistan was committed to the successful hosting of FIFA World Cup 2026 as it will provide an opportunity to portray soft image of the country at international level.
